WIRC tailors its committees for delegates of all skill levels and experience. Whether a student is participating in his or her first conference, or the Head Delegate of a team, we have tailored workshop tracks divided into interest, experience, and skill set. WIRC 2022 comes in 5 exciting tracks, General Assembly, Crisis, Model UN Leadership, and International Relations. Every delegate can mold his or her journey with a particular set of courses, in order to achieve maximal personal growth. It is a pleasure to serve students in this way, by empowering them to confidently engage with what they’ve chosen.

Students will have the opportunity to put the skills they learned in the morning’s WIRCshops to the test in a 3-hour simulation. This year at WIRC, we will have simulations for every delegate—from GAs to Crises, to Secretariat Simulations, to ensure that all interests and needs are best met. Through formal instruction and an interactive, engaging experience, WIRC aims to make sure that delegates are fully grasping new concepts they've learned, while also having fun.

Model UN Camp is $2,000. WIRC is $10. Frankly, there aren't enough hours in the day to teach all the intricacies of the Model UN or even dip into the world of International Relations at the high school level. As a result, students often look to overpriced outside supplemental camps or courses to learn more. WIRC's purpose is to remedy the divide between students who attend and don't attend a Model United Nations summer camp. At the Washington International Relations Conference, we provide an intensive learning experience for delegates of all ages and skill levels through a variety of workshops and simulations. It's why we believe that WIRC is an investment worth taking for Model UN teams and individual students, alike, looking to find their place in ongoing global discussions.
