GENERAL ASSEMBLY WIRCSHOPS

General Assembly (GA) committees simulate the United Nations and work to pass regular resolutions. These are where the traditional Model UN committees are found (SOCHUM, DISEC, Legal, SPECPOL, etc.). Within this larger GA track, there are two specialized tracks:

GA Novice and GA Veteran.

Novice refers to the beginner delegates, while Veteran refers to the more experienced delegates. Different versions of the workshops will be offered to Novices and Veterans. 

CRISIS WIRCSHOPS

Crisis committees simulate more unique elements of the United Nations and beyond. These committees can simulate special UN bodies (Security Council), historical crises, military crises, futuristic issues, cabinets, etc. Different versions of the workshops will be offered to Novices and Veterans in order to properly develop all delegates’ skills in the world of crisis.

CONFERENCE WIRCSHOPS

Planning to lead your own Model UN teams? Ready to host your own conference? This track will help delegates learn more about where Model UN can take them and ways to lead. It provides specific lessons and training from the organizers of WIRC, our sister conference, AmeriMUNC, and our award winning Model UN team. This track is suggested to more experienced students.
